Our little company was born out of a winter vacation in Leadville—a trip meant simply to visit family in their snug snow cabin, wrapped in pine trees and powdery quiet. But somewhere between the slow mornings, the crackling fire, and the endless white peaks, something unexpected happened: we fell completely in love.

Leadville isn’t just any mountain town—it’s a tiny jewel tucked high in the Rockies, charming, quirky, and proud to be the highest incorporated city in North America. Up here, the air is crisp, the stars shine brighter, and life has a way of slowing down just enough for you to notice the magic. We felt it instantly.

Inspired by that feeling—warmth, simplicity, and the kind of cozy joy only a mountain town can offer—we began creating goods that carried those moments home. Every scent, every texture, every detail is meant to feel like Leadville itself: soft snow, glowing windows, and the peaceful hum of small-town life.

And of course, no great story is complete without its hero. Ours just happens to have four paws and exceptionally high standards. Fiona, our beloved dog, is the official Quality Control Captain. Because everything we make is organic, natural, and non-toxic, she happily inspects every product with tail wags, sniffs, and the occasional supervisory nap. If it’s Fiona-approved, it’s ready for the world.

Our company was founded and incorporated in Leadville, Colorado (elevation 10,154 feet above sea level) in 2025. Because of this, we were delighted to find out we were officially the highest elevation incorporated candle company in the world. Denver, Colorado (elevation 5,280 feet above sea level) is known as the "Mile High City" and Leadville is known as the "Two Mile High City". Leadville is also known as the highest elevation city in the United States. This served as the catalyst for our name the "Two Mile High Candle Company". After our founding, we were able to secure the title of worlds highest elevation candle company.
